The United States was founded on ideas that reflected Enlightenment thinking, including the importance of science and the separation of church and state. People were allowed the freedom to believe whatever they wanted, but those beliefs were not to interfere with the operation of the democratically elected government. Maintaining the separation between church and state - between belief and science - has always been difficult, and it is coming under increasing attack in recent times.

Joe Biden has a real shot at being a boring president. It will require constant work. Many forces of commerce and human nature are arrayed against him, and countless obstacles stand in his path. But if the country is lucky, entire days will pass without the president s activities agitating the public mind.
Success in the presidency can be measured in many ways. After Donald Trump, a new one might be the ability to thin the ranks of the agog. We need a president who can reset the norms of the office and address our current crisis over the nature of truth, giving the public the information it deserves. A developer claims Google Chrome may be slowing down MacBook computers
Loran Brichter created a website to explain the problem and give a solution
He claims that Chrome installs the auto-update mechanism Keystone
This updater runs in the background and is undetected by the Activity Monitor 
Brichter claims uninstalling Chrome and Keystone will improve performance
However, a separate report is calling the problem and solution wild  
The report conducted an experiment with and without Chrome and Keystone 
It found no significant difference in the  WindowServer CPU usage ....
