North Bergen High School student wins anti-bias art contest

North Bergen High School student Camila Garcia received first place in the “#StopTheHate: Anti-Bias Vision for the Next Generation Youth Competition” from the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights (DCR).
Participating students created artwork that stands up against bias and hate. The winning projects will be featured as part of a multimedia campaign by the DCR.
Garcia will receive a certificate from the Office of the Attorney General, Division on Civil Rights.
Winners will be designated #NJCivilRights Ambassadors for the year following their selection and will work with DCR in a peer mentoring capacity for other students. They will participate in a roundtable, in virtual format if necessary, where they can share their experiences with bias and or hate and their ideas on how the government could do a better job communicating with young people. ....

In Geneva, essentially, it will be a West vs East battle, considering the key players. It is no secret that moves against Sri Lanka are orchestrated principally by Britain and EU countries, operating as proxies more or less of the USA, which opted out of the UNHRC’s annual drama on account of the infamous descriptive ‘cesspool of bias.
The endgame has been clearly visualized and what we now see are strategic moves that envisage a movement towards that particular Promised Land. To this end, eight Human Rights Ambassadors of Europe including the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden have in a joint statement called on the Sri Lankan government to “respect human rights defenders such as Hizbullah.” ....
