The ‘Rolling to Remember’ gathering was to be in a parking lot outdoors. Even Joe Biden’s CDC ranks the risk of transmission as low when you are outdoors. So how are they following the science here?
The painting of the letters made international headlines at the height of Black Lives Matter demonstrations last summer; Bowser had the words painted in bright letters for the world to see. Protests have erupted in D.C. Tuesday and Wednesday night over the death of a man who was fatally injured in a scooter crash after police tried to pull him over.
Karon Hylton-Brown, 20, died Monday, three days after the scooter crash in the Brightwood Park neighborhood.
