Central Point-native Nathan Bittle selected to prestigious McDonald s All-American Game A top-10 recruit in the class of 2021, Nathan Bittle adds to his already lengthy resume with a selection to the McDonald s All-American Game. Posted: Feb 23, 2021 2:58 PM Updated: Feb 23, 2021 10:46 PM Posted By: Josh Shelton CENTRAL POINT, Ore.  For a high school basketball player ranked ninth on ESPN s 2021 rankings, a selection to the McDonald s All-American game is almost expected. But for a southern Oregon-native, it s unprecedented.  Nathan Bittle, a 6-foot-11 center and University of Oregon commit is the first southern Oregonian to be playing for the prestigious team since South Medford s Kyle Singler in 2007. Bittle played three seasons at Crater High School before transferring to Prolific Prep in California when the Oregon basketball season was canceled (it has since been postponed to start in late spring of 2021).
