A new short story set in Woolwich and written by a local writer has been released as a podcast today.
Woolwich has been honoured as the setting and inspiration of a new podcast story, written by a local writer.
Poet and novelist Merrie Joy Williams said she wanted to honour her memories of the place, the quaint tea shops, cinemas and department stores, the arsenal and the frankness of the people.
But also their hopes for new developments, like Crossrail and the emerging, burgeoning arts scene.
