Andrea Carlisle was born in 1978 in Birmingham, Alabama to Anthony and Patricia Carlisle. She began her singing career at the age of 5 in the church that she attended. From that age she sang in choir in jr high school Where she was voted Most Talented. Also she continued on in high school where she sang in several programs in her school she was a member of WJ Nichols ensemble, Minor High School Gospel Choir also she was active in her church Rising Star Baptist Church under the leadership of her godparent’s Reverend James and Debra Kelley. Andrea passion for gospel music has been inspired by many greats such as Mahalia Jackson, The Barret Sisters, James Cleveland, Katie Sankey and many others. God also begin adding songwriter to her gift when he was preparing her for future. YOUNGSTOWN While the Youngstown high schools are not sponsoring proms for senior students, a group of enthusiastic East High School parents and alumni decided this senior event is too important to ignore.
The East High School Class of 2021 Senior Weekend, May 14-16, is being sponsored by alumni of East High not the school district.
Justin Jennings, school district chief executive officer, on Tuesday told the Youngstown Board of Education there will not be a district-sponsored event this year.
East High School seniors, however, will have a series of activities recognizing their 2021 school year through the efforts of parents and alumni. The parents and alumni believe even in a year affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the young people should be honored for their accomplishments. ....

UAMS to Provide COVID-19 Vaccinations April 20 in Hope
The clinic is available to
pre-registered patients only. No onsite registration will be allowed. There is no out-of-pocket cost to the patient. UAMS will administer the first dose of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.
As of March 31, all Arkansans age 16 and older are eligible for vaccinations; the Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved for use in teens as young as 16. A parent or guardian must come to the vaccine appointment with patients under 18.

The vaccinations will be conducted by UAMS in cooperation with the Rising Star Baptist Church, April R. Love Foundation, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the Vaccinate the Natural State campaign and Bank of America Foundation. ....
