Island Police: Unsecured trash leaves paper trail Bar Harbor On Feb. 9 at 2:45 a.m., Amanda O’Rourke, 38, of Ellsworth, was arrested for operating under the influence and operation after suspension after she was pulled over for a traffic stop in Bar Harbor. At 9:40 a.m. on Feb. 9, a 2008 Ford F-250 operated by William Perepchuk, 41, of Hancock, was traveling north on Route 3 near the intersection of Lookout Point Road when a 2008 Saab operated by Kaveh Haghkerdar, 67, of Bar Harbor, traveling west on Lookout Point Road, failed to stop due to icy road conditions. The Saab slid into Route 3 and struck the passenger side of the truck. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, but no injuries were reported. ....
