The Sigourney and Washington boys’ bowling teams ended their season last week at the Rose Bowl in Muscatine when they competed at a class 1A state qualifying meet. The Savages finished eighth out of 10 teams with a two-game series score of 1694. Louisa-Muscatine was the automatic qualifier placing first with 2188. Freshman Brock Alderson paced Sigourney in 14th with a 213 first game and a 204 second to knock down 417 pins in total.
