Laferla presented Id-Dar tal-Providenza with a charitable donation of €1,200 as part of the firm’s initiative to give to those who need it the most. The initiative forms part of Laferla’s monthly ‘Dress Down Days’, where team members collect funds that are then increased by the directors and donated to a charitable organisation of the staff’s choice. Coös Family Health honors staff March 03, 2021BERLIN On the evening of Thursday, Feb. 26, the staff and board of directors of Coös County Family Health gathered online to recognize the milestone anniversaries and outstanding performance of staff during the past year. Family Health is the main provider of primary medical care in the Androscoggin Valley region, and has served the community for more than 46 years. During the past year, agency staff have worked closely with health and social service providers throughout the region to ensure the community s needs were met during the Covid-19 pandemic. After introductory remarks by Board President, H. Guy Stever, and Chief Executive Officer, Ken Gordon, several staff were recognized for their outstanding achievements. ....

Now the girls have passed the torch on to two new captains who they hope will carry on their legacy. Seniors Caitlin Paier and Kateryna Koval have been working on the fundraising campaign, which launched Jan. 21 and will continue until March 10. Paier and Koval are hoping to raise at least $10,000 for the cause. ....
Share The Out-of-Door Academy students raise money to donate blankets to shelters in Sarasota as part of the Blankets of Hope project. Eleven freshmen from The Out-of-Door Academy sat in the library Feb. 5 with the lights off and their eyes closed. They were told to imagine themselves in a big city sitting on a sidewalk, feeling the pangs of hunger from not eating for two days. They were told to imagine someone noticing them, and rather than providing a helping hand, the person tells them to get a job. Students imagined themselves as dirty, disgusted and defeated as they continued to try to hold a job but kept getting fired because they didn’t have clean clothes and a place to call home every night. ....
Montessori By The Sea Students Give To Fellow Children And Commemorate School’s 20th Anniversary 17 December 2020, 04:38 AM Education The children of Montessori By The Sea marked the start of the holiday season with three community giving projects for their fellow children: the MBTS Christmas Wishing Tree, which benefitted Cayman’s ARK, a student vote that led to Feed Our Future being chosen as the school’s children’s charity, and the Literacy is for Everyone (LIFE) Book Drive sponsored by the MBTS Parents’ Guild. From November 23rdto December 8th, MBTS students granted Christmas wishes to families in need. Children and parents selected paper ornaments on the MBTS Christmas Wishing Tree, with each ornament corresponding to a particular child, a single-parent family, or a special holiday wish for essentials like clothing or groceries, and returned the decorated ornament filled with ....
