the Airlock allowlisting solution as a key part of the Essential
Eight cyber mitigation strategies to protect against
ransomware and other cyber attacks.
Airlock implements
Application Control – the first of the Australian Cyber
Security Centre (ACSC) Essential Eight strategies
to mitigate cyber security incidents – to prevent
execution of unapproved and/or malicious programs like
ransomware.

Australian cybersecurity provider Airlock Digital s Airlock allowlisting product is being used by gym operator Fitness & Lifestyle Group and other brands as part of their Essential Eight cyber mitigation strategies.
Airlock implements application control – the first of the Australian Cyber Security Centre s (ACSC) Essential Eight to mitigate cyber security incidents. If approved applications are the only ones allowed to run, there is much less chance of ransomware or other malware getting a foothold in a system.
Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) – which operates under brands such as Fitness First and Jetts – is using Airlock as part of its Essential Eight measures. The company has more than 500 gym locations across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, and offers on-demand digital health and fitness programmes.

A year on from Quadrant Private Equityâs acquisition of beleaguered tech services company Arq Group, the business has become an end-to-end digital transformation technology provider and had its earnings quadruple.
