GREEN RIVER The Green River City Council will need to decide whether or not to accept a $50,000 bid on Tracts B and C of the Old Lincoln School property or rebid the project at a later date. On Tuesday, the Council will meet at its regularly-scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. at city hall. One of the items up for review is the purchase of the Old Lincoln School Tracts B and C. The Council decided to look for a new buyer after New Peak Construction Company recently informed the city that it is no longer wanted to pursue the development of tracts B and C of the Lincoln School property. During a previous meeting, Council authorized city staff to advertise the invitation for bid for the sale of the tracts. ....
