Buhari should not ignore Kukah, others' call for restructuring — Alao, C&S leader

Supreme Head of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church worldwide, Prophet Solomon Alao, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to yield to the call of Nigerians across the geopolitical zones including Bishop Matthew Kukah, to restructure the country’s political system in order to reflect true federalism.
He also asked the politicians to forget for now any form of campaign towards 2023 general elections.
Alao gave the advice at a press conference, on last Monday, to kick-start the four-day 2021 Annual General Conference of the church which is billed to hold at Solution C&S Ministry, Elebu, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Prophet Alao said the current Nigeria’s constitution is substantially in a central command structure of a military type and would never work as it never did for the country. ....

The Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church Worldwide, His Most Eminence Prophet Solomon Alao, has raised the alarm that recent developments in the country have made an urgent restructuring of the country inevitable, saying not doing that is sending the country down the same path the defunct Soviet Union took some years ago.
The Soviet Union disintegrated into many sovereign nations over two decades ago.
Alao stated this on Monday while briefing the press on the 2021 Annual General Conference of the church holding in Ibadan later in the month.
The C&S leader noted that President Muhammadu Buhari should also see those drawing his attention to lapses in his administration and the country at large as watchmen and not people that must be vilified and seen as enemies. ....

C&S leader preaches love urges govt to tackle poverty

The Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Prophet Solomon Alao, has called on the government at all levels to show love to the people they govern by implementing welfare policies to reduce the economic hardship in the country.
He said showing love to the people was the essence of Christmas, with the way Jesus Christ loved and sacrificed his life to redeem humanity from eternal condemnation. He therefore asked leaders across the country to implement policies that would reduce poverty and banish hunger.
A statement by the Chief Public Relations Officer of the church, Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi said Prophet Alao said these in his Christmas message on Friday. ....
