Naypyitaw An eight-member legal team will defend Myanmar’s State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi against charges brought since the February 1 coup.
Dekkhinathiri Township Court in Naypyitaw heard Daw Aung San Suu Kyi via videoconferencing on Thursday and she accepted six more lawyers to defend her.
Lawyers Daw Min Min Soe and U Yu Ya Chit were granted power of attorney to defend Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at the previous court hearing. ....
