Paula said: He was a great believer that things could be changed. That s what motivated him. If a young person had a barrier there, you can always find a way around it. Kevin was a great believer in that.
The beauty about Kevin was he always kept his feet on the ground. He was a people person. He never forgot his roots. He always fought for what he believed in. He loved Newham. He committed his life to it.
We re so proud of him. He s going to be missed like mad.

AN East Lancashire funeral directors donated over 50 Easter Eggs to Blackburn foodbank.
Scales from Blackburn, part of Dignity Funerals, launched the annual Easter Egg Appeal in 2002 to help distribute chocolate gifts to anyone that may not be expecting an Easter Egg this year.
Funeral Service arranger, Laura Goodwin, said: “We would like to thank everyone in our local community that donated an Easter Egg and helped us with our annual appeal. Our colleagues, clients, local businesses and other visitors to our funeral home were very generous and helped us to donate over 50 Easter Eggs.”

Easter Egg Appeal 2021 hits target to give children treats

This year s Easter Egg Appeal has beaten its target after more than 2,500 treats were donated.
The organiser of the annual push, which aims to make sure children from needy families in Newham get an Easter egg, has thanked donors.
Kevin Jenkins, founder of youth organisation Ambition, Aspire, Achieve, said: The generosity shown by so many individuals has been just humbling, especially in these difficult times.
Such a brilliant response from the community to help those children and families within the communities who are struggling the most. ....
