A 25-year-old man has been booked into jail on a first degree murder charge. Two other suspects, 18-year-old Breckyn Eliott and 18-year-old Easton Palmer, have already been charged with first degree murder. The three were arrested for the April 25th shooting death of 17-year-old Eric Stokes. The shooting happened at the Morgan’s Landing Apartments near 13th and West Street. ....
Arrested was 20-year-old Terrance Panting. One report said Panting was attempting to take a shotgun from a teenager who was attempting to kill himself, but that but he was charged because he had his finger on the trigger. (Seems odd). [ Dustin Lane Rape, age 35, was fatally shot in Monroe, North Carolina, April 5, 2021. Justin Lamar Richardson, age 28, is facing a charge of first-degree murder reports say. Police believe the shooting was the result of an argument. Murder charge filed against second suspect in west Wichita shooting A second teenager has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting at a west Wichita apartment. A first degree murder charge has been filed against 18-year-old Breckyn Elliott. Her bond was set at $250,000 during a court appearance Tuesday and her next court appearane will be May 13th. Another suspect, 18-year-old Easton Palmer, has been charged with first degree murder and attempted aggravated robbery. Police are looking for a third suspect, identified as 25-year-old Jaron Palmer. Police said three people forced their way into an apartment near 13th and West Street on April 25th and fired shots. 17-year-old Eric Stokes was killed and another 17-year-old boy was treated and released for minor injuries. Investigators said drugs were involved in the shooting. ....
