SHARING OPTIONS: This pair of spring 2020-born Charolais heifers weighed an average of 378kg and sold for €920 (€2.43/kg). Iveragh Mart hosted its bimonthly sale on Tuesday attracting an entry of nearly 130 cattle. Young stock were most in demand, with buyers eager clearance rate hit 98%. Topping trade on the day was an August born Charolais bull that weighed 195kg and sold for €600 (€3.08/kg). Just behind, this a May 2019-born Shorthorn heifer weighed 250kg and sold for €700 (€2.80/kg). Top of the weanling heifers was a Limousin, which sold for €2.68/kg. The sale attracted a big entry of older dry continental cows which sold up to €1.88/kg. ....
