EastEnders legend Ian Beale has finally discovered the truth about Sharon s killer plan. EastEnders saw the wool finally pulled from Ian’s eyes last night when Max Branning made him realise that Sharon isn’t quite the doting wife that she is making herself out to be. Sharon became Mrs Beale last month when she married Ian thinking he was dying (Picture: BBC) However, it wasn’t quite the romantic moment that Ian thought it was, because since then Sharon has been trying to bump him off. It has since been revealed it was Phil Mitchell who attacked Ian and left him for dead before Christmas, and that it was Sharon who put him up to the task. ....

Earlier this year Sharon’s surname was changed from Mitchell back to her maiden name, Watts, after she split from husband Phil. Sharon married Ian in the hospital on Thursday’s episode (Picture: BBC) However, her name has changed yet again after marrying Ian while he was on his deathbed in Thursday night’s episode. Last night’s episode ended with Sharon (Letitia Dean) telling new mother-in-law Kathy that she had no intention of getting her marriage to Ian annulled. And now the closing credits even have her listed as Sharon Beale… there’s a sight we never thought we would see! ....
