Doha: With the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework having been thrust into the spotlight globally and in Qatar, sustainability is now the future of investing, Doha Bank CEO Dr. R. Seetharaman, has said. 
He was speaking at an online client event recently which was hosted by Doha Bank’s Private Banking division for its high net worth clients in Qatar. Over 400 guests attended the online client event on various virtual channels, which discussed the topic of “Investment Outlook”. 
During the webinar, Slim Bouker, Head of Private Banking at Doha Bank, indicated that the investment outlooks are part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to bring market knowledge to its clients. Gordon Smith was a big supporter of Canadian art. He always went to exhibitions by other artists, often bought their work, and sometimes even provided financial support.
It’s one of the reasons he was hailed as the most beloved artist in B.C. when he died on Jan. 18, 2020, at age 100.

GenComm Program Manager Paul Mc Cormack today welcomed the first hydrogen powered buses entering service in Northern Ireland. Speaking at a launch event at Stormont attended by the Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon, Mc Cormack said, “Today is a momentous day for those of us who have been on this hydrogen journey for some time now. The fact the three double decker buses are set to enter service locally is excellent news. Our GenComm project aims to address the energy sustainability challenges of North West Europe by validating hydrogen technologies. Translink working with our GenComm partner Energia ably supported by funding from the Department for Infrastructure have helped bring about this day at Stormont.” ....

Ministers welcome arrival of first Hydrogen powered buses | Latest Newry News, Newry Sport and Newry Business for Newry City


 
 
The arrival of the three new Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses is the culmination of an exciting zero-emissions bus pilot project powered by “Green” renewably produced Hydrogen.
The buses, emit only water and will be 100% powered by green renewable wind energy, responding to the global climate emergency by reducing air pollution and protecting public health. 
 
 
Translink together with the Energia Group formed a consortium which successfully bid for part funding from the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) with the remainder of the funding from the Department for Infrastructure. 
The overall capital investment represents around £4 million.
Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon says, “I am delighted to see these new buses enter service.  ....
