Like a lot of clubs and sporting organisations with playing activity at a standstill and members can t be together, the Geraldines can t hold physical meetings. Communication is conducted remotely, and it has precluded the holding of annual general meetings.
The local club hasn t likewise been able to hold their annual review of the year and elections. But the outgoing committee are seeing to the affairs of the club, with all the outgoing members agreeing to stay on and keeping the ball rolling.
In addition 14 volunteers have offered to join the committee and help.
Chairman Brian Cafferty and secretary Paula Hand issued a joint end of year statement on-line to the members of the Geraldines club with it not being possible to hold the annual general meeting.
