increase font size Read Article “The Death of Robin Hood” will be presented at the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main Street in Rangeley on July 30, 31, August 1 and August 2, 2021, Friday, Saturday and Monday shows at 7 PM; Sunday matinee at 4 PM. The play is a production of the Rangeley Friends of the Arts and is directed by Brittany Wetherill. A straight play, “The Death of Robin Hood”, is a comedy of errors by J.S. Puller. Full of daring damsels, dashing sword fights, and the occasional moment of all out chaos, “The Death of Robin Hood” is a fun evening for the whole family! The madcap cast includes Fletcher DellaValle as the minstrel Allan-a-Dale, Daxx Wiliams as the daring Will Scarlet, and Benjamin Wetherill as the steadfast Little John. Outside of the Merry Men, Heidi Bassett will be seen as the tenacious Ellen Scatheloke, Tina Falasco as the beautiful Lady Marian, and Ethan Wright as the devilishly cunning Sheriff of Nottingham. Mid-Plains rodeo team dominates UNL rodeo by: Heather Johnson (North Platte Community College) - Apr. 26, 2021 Sports If there were any spectators who didn’t know about the Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team prior to last weekend – they do now. MPCC blew away the competition Friday and Saturday at the Nebraska Cornhusker College Rodeo hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A total of 21 Mid-Plains athletes qualified for the short go. “It was great to see us, as a team, finally put it all together,” Aukai Kaai, MPCC Rodeo Team coach said. “Headed into the short go, we were set up to have a really good rodeo. One run after another, it just seemed like the team fed off of each other’s good performances. I was pretty proud of what they put together.” ....
