Event: Jim Campbell THE Fellfoot Forward Landscape Partnership Scheme (LPS), led by the North Pennines AONB Partnership and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, are holding an information event with The Farmer Network at Town Head Farm, Croglin, hosted by Jim Campbell on Tuesday July 6 2-4pm. The Fellfoot Forward LPS is a major project for people and nature which focuses on part of the North Pennines AONB in North East Cumbria and beyond to the river Eden. The aim of the farmer information event is to help farmers prepare for the changes in farming support and to look at the opportunities available through the Fellfoot Forward (LPS) with organisations and advisors working at the forefront of changes to farming. ....
A RIVER conservation charity is asking people to give back to the natural landscape that has helped nurture their health and wellbeing during the pandemic. This Saturday, Eden Rivers Trust launches its 25th Anniversary Auction offering fun and exciting ways for people to support and give back to the river charity. The auction has gone virtual for the very first time and runs from noon on Saturday, April 24 until 8.15pm on Saturday May 15. The event organisers have said there’s plenty of time for people to look through the lots being offered and place their bids. Many of the lots celebrate the best of what Eden and Cumbria have to offer. ....
