Somehow as we muddled through the darkest moments of the pandemic, we saw signs of promise and hope. COVID-19 has infected almost everywhere on Earth, but it has not eradicated humanity nor broken the spirit that makes us people. You would be hard pressed to find better people than those here in the South, many of them right here in Alabama.
