Isaac Flores, who returned to Austin from New York City with his wife, Kelsey Sammataro Hutchins, in 2018, was looking for a home for Sammataro, the pizza concept he created with a few friends last year. An 80-year-old man who was killed in a collision earlier this month has been identified as Arlen Jameson, Austin police said. Police on April 14 responded at 5:38 p.m. to the 1300 block of Lost Creek Boulevard, which is south of Bee Cave Road. Jameson was driving a white 2018 Tesla at the time. Jameson and a driver in a gray 2016 Acura collided head-on, police said. Jameson was taken to St. David s South Austin Medical Center, where he died on April 15 at 1:25 a.m. Jameson is the 30th person to die in Austin traffic so far this year. At the same time in 2020, police reported 28 traffic deaths. ....
