“This is not only a great honor for all of us who worked on

The National Film Registry selects films to be entered due to their cultural, historic or aesthetic importance to the nation’s film heritage. This year’s selections bring the number of films selected for preservation in the registry to 800 out of the 1.3 million films in the Library’s collections.
