After six seasons as director of artist programs for Artists Series Concerts of Sarasota, Joseph Holt has announced he is stepping down.
In announcing his departure, the organization said Holt, a concert pianist, conductor and arranger, will continue to work with the Artist Series as a performer.
In a statement, Holt said the year of the pandemic led him to the “decision to start moving towards a reduced work schedule and ultimate retirement.” He serves as artistic director of Choral Artists of Sarasota, director of music at Faith Lutheran Church and the host of SILL’s Music Mondays programs.
