At least 7 Houston apartments still without water following last’s month winter storms Updated: Tags: HOUSTON – Houston Public Works has identified seven apartments that are still without water Friday following the last month’s winter freeze. The department said this information is based on 311 calls. Public works crews are monitoring the apartment buildings daily to make sure plumbers are on-site and working to restore water service, Director of Communications Alanna Reed said in an email. Villas Del Paseo on Elmside Drive is one of the apartments on the city’s list. “The water has not been on since the first night of the freeze,” said resident Crystal Williams. ....
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) Residents of a southwest Houston apartment complex are frustrated as they head into week two with no water. Tenants at the Villas Del Paseo apartment complex said they have been without water since the winter storm, and do not feel as though they are getting enough answers from those in charge. The leasing office has locked their doors and requested that anyone who needs to speak to someone in the office to call the number instead. An agent at the office told ABC13 over the weekend that they do not have any comment on the ongoing issue with no water. ....

(KSLA) - Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins spoke with KSLAâs Destinee Patterson Tuesday, Feb. 23 to update citizens on the cityâs progress restoring water service after severe winter weather that passed through the week of Feb. 15 caused a nearly citywide outage. According to the mayorâs office, the Water Department is now seeing water pressure increase at the 70th and Pines Road booster station. West Shreveportâs water pressure is still low, but the pressure is expected to begin increasing over the next few hours now that there is enough water to turn on the booster pumps. Crews are now repairing breaks, primarily in the Queensborough area. ....

(KSLA) - The Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (BOHSEP) has teamed up with various non-profits organizations to distribute bottled water to people in need after the winter storms. BOHSEP sent out a news release Wednesday morning (Feb. 24), saying in the last 48 hours, they’ve worked with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, the City of Bossier City, Bossier Meals on Wheels, and the 211 system, as well as other non-profits, to distribute as much water as possible. Those who regularly get food from Meals on Wheels also received a supply of water. ....
