„Wir werden fanatische Impfgegnerinnen und -gegner nicht überzeugen können. Es muss darum gehen, die Leute für eine Impfung zu gewinnen, die sich nicht ausreichend informiert fühlen und Ängste haben, die man ihnen nehmen kann“, schreibt Korte.
Darüber hinaus müsse im Fernsehen und in den sozialen Medien eine Öffentlichkeitskampagne mit mehrsprachigen Spots und bekannten Leuten aus allen Generationen und Gesellschaftsbereichen laufen. „Dafür müssen Bund und Länder sofort und ohne Finanzierungshürden Geld bereitstellen“, fordert der Abgeordnete.
Die Karlsruher Wirtschaftswissenschaftlerin Nora Szech plädiert dagegen für eine finanzielle Zahlung an Geimpfte. Sie glaube nicht, dass niedrigschwellige Impfangebote und Informationskampagnen ausreichen, um mehr Menschen zum Impfen zu motivieren, sagte die Ökonomin des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie (KIT) dem RND. „Das hat in keinem Land ausgereicht.“
