Shamwalk remembers passings FacebookTwitterEmail ELDRED The annual 5K Sham Walk in Eldred is remembering those who have passed away. The Sham Walk was started by Amy Jilg, who had breast cancer. The walk had started around 5 to 6 years before she passed. Bernie Faul, organizer of the walk, said she and Jilg used to participate together in the relay for life breast cancer event called “Party in Pink.” Faul said they always had a sham walk in Eldred because she said it’s a small town and people like to walk. Along the way, she met Cris Berry, who is another person the sham walk is remembering. ....
