ICSO: Follow up on location of a missing elderly man.

Location of Incident: 138 Redemption Road, Statesville.
Missing Person: 78 Year Old Male
Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 11:30 am, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious vehicle at 184 Redemption Road, north of Statesville.
When the deputies arrived at 184 Redemption Road, they located a blue Toyota Prius which was running with no one around it. The caller met the deputies and told them they saw an elderly man get out of the vehicle, He began acting erratically, then turned and walked up a power line trail into a heavily wooded area.

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office found a man who walked into a wooded area. On Sunday (May 2) at 11:30 am, the Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Redemption Road, north of Statesville.
