The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District has announced it is entering contract negotiations with Jennifer Huotari to become its next superintendent.
The DIISD Board of Education unanimously selected Huotari from among an initial field of 12 applicants. She has been the DIISD’s finance director for the past 10 years.
Huotari will take over for Wendy Warmuth, who is retiring June 30 after 33 years with the ISD, 10 as superintendent. The board thanks and wishes Warmuth well in retirement.
