Fed up with paying for the flooding damage to their homes and cottages out of their own pockets, Erie Shore Drive property owners have launched a lawsuit against the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
The Erie Shore Drive Property Owners Association issued a statement announcing an application was brought forward under Section 79 of the Drainage Act. More than 80 people are seeking undisclosed damage from the local government.
