AKRON, Ohio – The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation announced it will award grants totaling $650,000 to ArtsNow, a nonprofit advocating for arts and culture, and the Nightlight Cinema, an independent nonprofit movie theater.
The awards support the foundation’s mission of helping to make art more accessible to Akron residents in an effort to create stronger, more informed and more engaged communities. ....
