Colombo: Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief RKS Bhadauria on Wednesday arrived in Colombo for a two-day visit as the Sri Lanka Air Force`s (SLAF) is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
He was invited by Commander of SLAF Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana. Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria was scheduled to attend the inaugural ceremony in which an IAF contingent comprising of Suryakiran and Sarang Aerobatic Display Teams and Tejas LCA is taking part, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
During the course of his two day visit, the IAF Chief is also scheduled to interact with various dignitaries and the heads of services of the armed forces of Sri Lanka, the Ministry said.

New Delhi [India], March 2 (ANI): General Kenneth Wilsbach, commander of Pacific Air Forces, on Tuesday called on Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief RKS Bhadauria along with his delegation at Air Force Headquarters and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral ties.
According to the IAF, the Comprehensive discussions were held between the two sides on issues pertaining to Air Force level cooperation and ways to further strengthen the IAF and the United States Air Force (USAF) bilateral ties. Gen Kenneth Wilsbach, Cdr @PACAFcalled on Air Chief Mshl RKS Bhadauria at Air HQ today along with his delegation. Comprehensive discussions were held between the two sides on issues pertaining to Air Force level cooperation and ways to further strengthen IAF-USAF bilateral ties, the IAF tweeted.

The Indian Air Force carried out a long-range precision strike against a practice target to mark the second anniversary of the Balakot Operations, sources said on Saturday.
The strike was carried out by members of the squadron which conducted the air strikes on terror launch pads in Balakot in Pakistan.
Sources added the strike was in the very recent past .
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Saturday flew a multi-aircraft sortie with the units to commemorate the occasion along with the squadron pilots.
