A Massachusetts firefighter is charged with operating his vehicle under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash.State police said Preston Klem, 40 of Rockland, was involved in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Route 3 just before Route 18. According to police, Klem struck another vehicle while driving a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup. The other vehicle, a 2015 Honda Pilot being driven by a 35-year-old Hanover woman, ended up off the road and into the wood line.Police said Klem did not stop following the crash. Klem, who is an East Bridgewater firefighter, was arrested at his home approximately 30 minutes after the crash.
