The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Trinity Congregation, Satellite-Kutunse in Accra has entered into a mutual exchange worship programme with Emmanuel Congregation in Jirapa.
This partnership will see some congregants of Trinity Congregation visiting the local church at Jirapa in the Upper West Region to worship together.
This decision was taken in 2020 by the Session of Trinity Congregation. However, due to the novel Corona Virus pandemic leading to churches lockdown, the program stalled. The partnership is in line with the vision 1.5 agenda of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian church of Ghana. ....

Blue Christmas Service to be held at Massena church

MASSENA Emmanuel Congregational UCC, 39 W. Orvis St., will hold a Blue Christmas Service Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. Those unable to come in person can watch a stream on Youtube at: https://www.youtube.com/c/EmmanuelCongregationalUCCMassenaNY.
Why a blue service?
“Certainly you have experienced what some call the blues at one time or another in your life,” a statement from the church said. “Christmas time is a season when not everyone feels cheerful or even joyful. Coping with the death of a loved one, facing your first holiday season after a recent divorce or loss of a job, living with chronic illness or pain, clinical depression or battling a disease such as cancer all make holiday parties and festivities painful for many in our congregation and surrounding communities. This year is especially difficult as we continue to battle Covid 19 and find nothing is as it once was.” ....
