EISENHOWER SCHOOL BUILDING TO CLOSE FOR REST OF SCHOOL YEAR

EISENHOWER SCHOOL BUILDING TO CLOSE FOR REST OF SCHOOL YEAR By Hometown2 Apr 17, 2021 7:54 AM As a result of a fire that destroyed two modular classrooms and caused significant smoke and water damage to the main building, the Eisenhower Elementary School building will remain closed for the rest of the school year. The closure was needed due to the extent of the damage done and the process needed to bring the facility back to working order.  The fire early Friday morning started around 1:50 in the morning, and brought several fire departments from Indiana and Westmoreland County to assist at the scene.  The school district was thankful that the fire happened at a time when there were no students on campus, and that the only losses are material and can be replaced.
