Dr L S S Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of KL University Passed away

Share Hyderabad: The Vice-Chancellor of KL Deemed to be University, Dr. L.S.S.Reddy passed away today due to a cardiac arrest. Aged 62 years, he was associated with KL University for 3 decades. Dr. L.S.S. Reddy was an eminent Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from BITS Pilani. An outstanding administrator, a prolific researcher, and a forward-looking educationist, Dr. Reddy had over 35 years of experience in teaching, research and administration at prestigious institutes like BITS Pilani, CBIT apart from KL University. Dr.L.S.S.Reddy had joined KL College of Engineering (KLCE) in 1995 and proved his administrative excellence as a Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Reddy was instrumental and a driving force as Principal (2002-2009) in promoting KLCE as one of the leading Institutions in India. Under the leadership of Dr. L.S.S. Teacher brings education to tribal hamlets in Andhra Pradesh

Express News Service KURNOOL: Kiran Naik, a government college lecturer, is an inspiration to many. His students are now in a good position, thanks to his motivation. He played a crucial role in shaping the future of many tribal students. Kiran Naik, a native of Sanjeeva Nagar Thanda in Nallamala forest of Atmakur mandal, is now working as a lecturer at Government Model Residential Polytechnic for Tribals in Srisailam. He has received National Award of Excellence Leadership and Management recently from the Angel Global University in Kakinada.  Kiran has been persuading parents of the  tribal children to get their wards educated and improve their living standards. To a query, he said it is of grave concern that many seats in higher education go vacant as the tribals do not come forward to join technical courses. He, however, said it is his life mission to encourage tribal youths to focus on studies to achieve success in their career path.

Madras HC issues bailable warrant against former Anna University V-C

Justices R. Subbiah and Sathi Kumar Sukumara Kurup passed the interim orders on a writ appeal preferred by the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), who had been allotted the University land in 1992. Justice T.S. Sivagnanam of the High Court had on March 3, 2020 dismissed a writ petition filed by ISTE in 2004 against the University’s decision to resume the land.
