Easton firefighters search for dog believed to have fallen through ice Wicked Local EASTON -The Easton Fire Department responded to Shovelshop Pond Wednesday morning, Feb. 10 to search for a dog that reportedly fell through the ice, according to Fire Chief Kevin Partridge. Firefighters were unable to locate the dog and there was a set of animal tracks leading away from the ice. At approximately 10:35 a.m., Easton Fire received a call from a person who was passing by Shovelshop Pond, on Pond Street, who reported that they saw a dog on the ice and that the dog had fallen through the ice into the water. ....
Franklin man killed in North Attleborough crash on 95 Wicked Local NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH – A Franklin man was killed in a two-car accident on 95 north early Saturday morning, Jan. 30 in North Attleborough. At 5:35 p.m. state police responded to reports of a rollover crash one half mile north of Exit 5. The 27-year-old man who died was the driver of a 1996 Toyota Corolla which rolled over, according to state police. He was transported with serious injuries to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said. His name is not being released at this time. The second vehicle, a 2021 Toyota, was operated by a 33-year-old female from Seattle, Washington. She was uninjured, according to state police. ....
