Mitsubishi will sell three variants of the Eclipse Cross Plug-In Hybrid in the local market. All feature a 2.4-liter petrol four-cylinder that produces 126 hp (94 kW) and 147 lb-ft (199 Nm) of torque. Supplementing this engine are a 80hp (60 kW) and 101 lb-ft (137 Nm) electric motor at the front axle and a 93 hp (70 kW) and 144 lb-ft (195 Nm) motor driving the rear axle. All variants feature a 13.8 kWh battery pack that offers up to 55 km (34 miles) of electric-only driving. Three distinct driving modes are available: EV, Series Hybrid, and Parallel Hybrid.
