A Bristol man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for a series of sex offences against children committed between 2017 and 2020.
Thomas Rawlings, 35, from Lockleaze, pleaded guilty to 33 charges in relation to nine children, including counts of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity. ....

'Calculated' paedophile from Lockleaze sentenced to 12 years in prison

After first contacting one of his victims online, this later progressed to physical meetings, with Rawlings booking hotels for them to meet in, where he groomed and exploited her into a sexual relationship with him.
Registered sex offender Rawlings, who was first convicted in 2012, pleaded guilty to 33 charges in relation to nine children.
Judge James Patrick said that Rawlings was a dangerous, obsessed and persistent paedophile who targets young people for sexual gratification and a feeling of power.
The judge said: “You scared your child victims and caused them emotional torment. You ripped families apart. You have worsened the lives of the vulnerable. You have ruined trust. You have caused some to feel suicidal.” ....

A PAEDOPHILE has been locked up after being caught with more than 1,000 indecent images of children.
Dominic Osborne Robinson was caught with more than 1,000 images of children being abused.
Police raided the 34-year-old s home after getting a tip-off he had been uploading indecent images and talking about abusing youngsters online.
Officers seized three phones, a laptop and a tablet and a number of cameras.
They contained a mix of category A, B and C images as well as sexualised communications with children.
He was arrested the same day at his workplace in Portsmouth on January 28, 2019. ....
