Green Bay Packers Foundations awards grants to four Milwaukee nonprofits
The Green Bay Packers Foundation has awarded $125,000 grants to four nonprofit organizations in Milwaukee.
Allison Wagner, executive director of All-In Milwaukee, said the grant will allow her organization to provide more scholarships and career development programs to more limited-income students of color in the Milwaukee area.
All-In starts working with students in their senior year of high school, Wagner said. She said in the city of Milwaukee only 12% of high school graduates earn a two or four-year degree, according to the state Department of Public Instruction. More than 90% of the participants in the All-In program complete higher education, she said.
