Thunder Status
After facing the No. 1 team in the Western Conference on Friday, the Thunder now closes out the season against the LA Clippers, who, like the Jazz, are among the league leaders in both offensive and defensive rating. With one more game remaining, the Thunder took to the practice floor on Saturday to continue its steady drumbeat of player development while also preparing for one final test against an elite team before the offseason.
“The focus is still the same. Play strong, play together, have fun,” said Thunder rookie Aleksej Pokuševski. “We’ve just got to go out tomorrow and play together, play strong and sprint through the finish line strong.”

Thunder Status
The Thunder returned home from its last road trip of the season and enjoyed two days off from games before returning to action inside of Chesapeake Energy Arena for its final two games of the year. In the valuable and rare practice time leading up to its penultimate matchup, the Thunder utilized the time to not only refresh after the four-game stint on the West Coast, but also lean into its development and skill work on the court.
“We gave a goal and we have a vision so we stick to our vision and kept moving forward,” said Thunder wing Svi Mykhailiuk. “There’s still two games to get better and used the practice to get better.”

Thunder Status
Only one game remains for the Thunder on its final road trip of the season and it comes against a very familiar foe in the Sacramento Kings. Other than facing off against them just 48 hours prior, Tuesday’s matchup will also mark the third meeting in a matter of eight days between these two teams which means the Thunder will have plenty of fresh film to go over before the final matchup.
The last time these two teams met on Sunday, the Thunder’s balanced offensive attack finished with six players in double figures for the 26th time this season. Darius Bazley led the way offensively with 18 points including a 2-for-3 performance from deep, but it was the Thunder’s newest members such as Gabriel Deck, Josh Hall, Charlie Brown Jr. and Jaylen Hoard who benefitted the most from the minutes they received on Sunday.
