Who wants to buy a visa? The spread of so-called golden visa programmes over the past decade has raised many questions about these opportunities to gain a residence permit – for those who can afford it. All one needs to do is park around €250,000 or so in a specified investment area – usually real estate, bank deposits, or government bonds – and go through a standard application process, which can take just a few weeks. Spouses, children, and sometimes even parents can be included on the application, securing residence benefits for the whole family. Covid-19 outbreak established at accommodation center for asylum seekers at Mucenieki
RIGA, April 29 (LETA) - A Covid-19 outbreak has been established at the accommodation center for asylum seekers in Mucenieki, according to Thursday s government meeting.
Jurijs Perevoscikovs, director of the Department of Infectious Disease Risk Analysis and Prevention at the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), said that during the epidemiological investigation, cases of the virus had been detected center in Mucenieki. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
Health Minister Daniels Pavluts (For Development) said that apart from the Mucenieki outbreak, the geography of the spread of Covid-19 in the country is very wide-ranking and the number of safe areas is declining. ....
