Dan Whelan The regeneration firm launched by former Placefirst directors David Smith-Milne and Peter Martin earlier this year has hired Faye Whiteoak as development director, one of three appointments at the fledgling firm. Whiteoak spent four years as development director at Redrow Homes, leading the housebuilder’s strategic partnership with Liverpool City Council and Torus to deliver 1,500 new homes in Liverpool, before departing the firm in May 2019. Since September 2019 she has worked part-time as an independent committee member at housing association Plus Dane Housing, a role she will continue in following her appointment at Place Capital Group. “It is a testimony to the strength of our vision and business model, which is to transform forgotten former council estates into neighbourhoods of the future, that we are able to appoint someone of Faye’s quality, reputation and experience so soon after our launch,” Smith-Milne said. ....
