I am writing to congratulate the New England Newspaper & Press Association for recognizing the three Gazette employees Carol Lollis, Greta Jochem and Kyle Grabowski by bestowing the first-place awards for their articles and photographs. And congratulations to these very fine professionals.
We are very fortunate to have a local newspaper (still!) and the likes of Carol, Greta and Kyle. During my tenure in the Northampton Public Schools, Carol and Greta documented the activities and families in the schools with great skill, sensitivity and care. They, and Kyle’s sports writing, are simply the best and I thank them now, as a community member, for all that they do for the Valley. ....
