Lahore NAB recovers Rs75 bn in three years National May 5, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau, Lahore, recovered Rs75 billion from 2017 to-date of which Rs14.4 billion were recovered directly and Rs66.6 billion indirectly from the accused. While in 17 years from 1999 to 2016, the Lahore Bureau had recovered Rs41.7 billion, including Rs17.7 billion directly and indirect recovery of Rs 23 billion. An important meeting of NAB was held at the headquarters under the chairmanship of Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal to review the overall performance of NAB Lahore. Director General, Lahore Bureau, briefed him on the comparative figures of last four years from 2017 to-date and the comparison of recovery from 1999 to 2016 and after this till to-date. ....

Daily Times May 5, 2021 The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday briefed threadbare about the four years performance of its Lahore bureau. The meeting chaired by Justice ( Retd) Javed Iqbal at headquarters was briefed by Director General, Lahore. According to NAB spokesman, the DG Lahore shared the comparative figures of bureau’s performance of the last four years from 2017 to date and from 1999 to 2016. The forum was informed about last four year’s direct and indirect recoveries in various cases including 56 companies of Punjab, housing societies, current status of companies scam and details of convictions by the accountability courts. The DG Lahore informed that the bureau had recovered Rs 75 billion from 2017 till date.Of which Rs 14.4 billion were recovered directly and Rs 66.6 billion were recovered indirectly from the accused. ....
Lahore April 25, 2021 LAHORE : An accountability court on Saturday adjourned the hearing of a reference against Shahbaz Sharif’s son-in-law Ali Imran Yousaf and daughter Rabia Imran till May 21. Previously, the court had sought the details of the properties of both accused after declaring them as proclaimed offenders in Saaf Pani Company reference. The case has been adjourned without any development due to unavailability of the trial judge. The NAB had filed a supplementary reference against Waseem Ajmal, former CEO, Punjab, Saaf Pani Company, South, Imran Ali Yousaf, CEO M/s Ali, and Fatima Developers, on acquiring an under-construction building (Ali Trade Centre) on rent by abusing authority, which caused a loss of Rs24.7m to the national exchequer. However, Ali Imran didn’t join the investigation nor appeared before the court. ....
National March 8, 2021 LAHORE: An Accountability Court on Saturday declared Ali Imran Yousaf, son-in-law of Shahbaz Sharif, and daughter Rabia Imran as proclaimed offenders in Saaf Pani Company reference. In January the court had started proceedings to declare Ali Imran Yousaf and his wife Rabia Imran proclaimed offenders. The court, after declaring said accused as proclaimed offenders, has sought detail of properties of the accused from the prosecution.
