Georgie Bremner is a 46-year-old private ski lesson instructor at Aspen-Snowmass from New Zealand.
COVID-19 has taken away some of her international clients, but she typically gives lessons daily. 
This is her story, as told to freelance writer Zoe Rosenberg.
I ve been skiing for 43 years, and I started teaching when I was 17 in Austria. 
After I left Europe, I really wanted to learn how to ski moguls. Moguls aren t really a thing in Europe and aren t huge in New Zealand, where I m from. 
Aspen was just a really incredible place that had a big draw and a lot of talent came here. ....

Affluent Americans including millennials have settled into beach towns and ski resorts from Florida to Wyoming, lured from major cities in part because of their desire to work remotely while surrounded by nature. And Sotheby s predicts that the pandemic s effects on the homebuyer psyche will continue to add to the surge in luxury home sales in secondary vacation markets for the next year, if not longer. ....

Two Houston chefs set to compete on Bravo s Top Chef

Bravo s Top Chef returns April 1, and two Houston chefs will be in the kitchen whipping it up.
Dawn Burrell and Sasha Grumman will be among 15 cheftestants competing for the coveted title of Top Chef, $250,000, a feature in FOOD & WINE magazine and an appearance at the annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen.
Burrell is a retired Olympic long jumper-turned-chef. She began her career in food in the culinary program at the Art Institute of Houston, according to Bravo. Her time as executive chef at Kulture earned Burrell her first James Beard nomination for “Best Chef: Texas” in 2020. She eventually left her position during the COVID-19 pandemic to pursue Pivot, a chef-driven meal preparation service, as reported by Chron s Marcy de Luna. ....
