Craig was excited to be the world s fastest 1500m runner for the season. It s pretty cool when you think about it, he said. To have your name at number one, that s crazy. He also won the 800m race for the U17 boys at the state meet in Brisbane. While he s competed at numerous school championships and even been crowned state and national champion at those meets, it was the first time he d pushed himself on the track at the state level for his club at the University Of The Sunshine Coast. He will next head to the national championships where he will contest the 1500m and 3000m.
