Pueblo Community College concurrent enrollment could help students

As Pueblo positions itself to address the challenges of a post-pandemic recovery, it is my belief that we must capitalize on the opportunity to provide students an accessible, affordable journey to a college education. Concurrent enrollment is an exceptional way to offer seamless transitions among K-12 education, higher education, and business and industry.
Colorado’s concurrent enrollment program, created by the state legislature in 2009, enables students to take college courses while they are still in high school. Classes may take place on the college campus or be taught by college-certified teachers at the high school.
Tuition is paid for by a student’s school district, saving families thousands of dollars in education costs. In the 2018-19 school year, concurrent enrollment students at Pueblo Community College campuses saved an estimated $2.3 million in tuition. In addition, high schools with college-certified instructors earn back money that is reinvested in addit ....

Bryson J. Brophy, 36, was convicted of violating probation he received in November 2019 by failing to report to his probation officer in early May, by not completing counselling in late May and by neglecting to report to his probation officer again in August. Justice Allan Letourneau was told that Brophy was placed on probation for 15 months and ordered to report as directed to his probation officer and is required to participate in counselling, particularly the Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program. But according to assistant Crown attorney John Skoropada, he was discharged from the PAR Program in May for failing to put in the requisite atten ....

NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano has been pulled from his match against KUSHIDA at this Sunday’s
NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, according to Austin Theory.
“I just left Mr. TakeOver Johnny Gargano’s house, and I can’t hold this in anymore. Johnny’s out of TakeOver,” Theory informed via a video clip on Twitter. “He will not be there for Vengeance Day, and its all because of you, KUSHIDA.”
Theory went onto reveal that he will now face KUSHIDA on tomorrow night’s episode of NXT.
