Rain and flooding causing issues across the metro Connor Hansen
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) Flooding continues to be an issue in the Oklahoma City metro area.
Water is high at local lakes and there has been damage and washouts on some roads.
A huge chunk of dirt was washed away along Britton Road near Sooner Road in Northeast OKC.
A couple of people trying to bypass the signs got stuck on the muddy shoulder.
Luckily for them, some passing by stopped to pull them out.
“Road closed means road closed,” said Austin Reeves who stopped to tow cars out with this truck’s winch.
